Niu

Niu is an Economist at the Poverty Global Practice, World Bank. He has a Ph.D. in Applied Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. He devotes himself to identifying and relaxing the binding constraints of economic development in the developing countries. His research areas include poverty analytics, structural economics, aging and elderly care, digital economy, the impact and coping mechanisms of natural disasters. He is now contributing to the investment and analytical projects in the Central Asia region.
